Now that we have embarked upon a new sorority year, the ladies of Lambda Sigma Sigma Alumnae Chapter are preparing to “hit the ground running.” There are several community service events underway, including the St. Jude, Atlanta Heart Walk, AIDS Walk, Hattie McDaniel Breast Cancer Awareness Activities, and National Day of Service – just to name a few. Some committees have already begun planning and implementing ideas for their respective projects. Some events are not expected to take place until Spring 2018, while some will occur as early as the end of September. Nonetheless, Sorors are strategically organizing all details so that each event runs smoothly.
In true Sigma fashion, we will show up and show out, STAND UP and STAND OUT through Sisterhood, Service, and Scholarship!
We are excited about planning the upcoming events for sorority year 2017-2018, and anxiously anticipate servicing the community with you!
